My first time at Genwa, and I thoroughly enjoyed everything about this place. Dishes were flavorful served with generous variety of kimchi side dishes. I also enjoyed my favorite cold noodles authentic chewy texture. Grilled meats were tender and well seasoned.

Still love this place, but it's not such a great value anymore. Still have high a huge variety of banchan (we got 18 dishes, not 23 as before); prices went up; and meat is still of high quality, not superpremium - but the beef brisket was far worse. So a reasonable value, but I fear that it may be squeezed out by places that are more upscale on the top end, and better value on the low end, and more of a party on the 6th and Alexandria end - leaving them with one USP: lots of kinds of banchan. Which is not nothing, but not enough to get them that 5th star.
